The Cluster Meet Regions event, held on 14 and 15 May at the ParcBit innovation park in Palma, featured the CESAM project as a prominent example of successful cross-border cooperation. The event was organised by the Directorate General for Innovation and Digital Transformation of the Government of the Balearic Islands, with the support of Fundació Bit.

During the event, Xavier Bernard Sans, Secretary General of the Pyrenees-Mediterranean Euroregion, and Nicolas Nguyen The, Europe Director at Agri Sud-Ouest Innovation, presented the CESAM project as a case study. Their presentation highlighted the project’s strategic importance for clusters and businesses throughout the Euroregion, emphasising its role in fostering innovation, sustainability, and regional collaboration.

The programme also included visits to two leading initiatives in the Balearic Islands: Fundació Deixalles and Astilleros de Mallorca – Refit and Repair Shipyard. These organisations were showcased as best practices in circular economy and industrial innovation, offering inspiring models for participants from across Europe.
