Derypol is based in Catalonia. It develops and produces polymers for wastewater treatment, pulp & paper, personal care, and household among other applications. With a production capacity of 30.000 MT/Year, Derypol is selling to more than 65 countries. Its growth is driven by environment protection (2010 Generalitat of Catalunya Environmental Award for developing the first non-acrylamide-based flocculants) and R&D (Vitality Index >18%). Derypol is the unique developer of the HIMOLOC Technology, water-based and solvent-free flocculants that are used for wastewater treatment including sludge dewatering. Different from solvent-based emulsion flocculants, the HIMOLOCs doesn’t add solvents into the final sludge from wastewater treatment plant, enabling to be re-used in agriculture (nutrient recovery), fertilizer or animal feeding production.
