SUMMARY:Clusters Meet Regions at Palma (Balearic Islands)
DESCRIPTION:The upcoming “Clusters Meet Regions” event will take place on May 14-15\, 2025\, at ParcBit in Palma\, Spain. Organised by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) on behalf of the European Commission\, together with the Government of the Balearic Islands and Fundació Bit\, the event focuses on how clusters can drive the regional transition from a linear to a circular economy. It aims to position Palma and the Balearic Islands as key innovators in circular economy practices\, supporting the region’s economic diversification beyond tourism through innovation\, sustainability\, and digital transformation. \nOver two days\, participants will engage in discussions\, workshops\, and matchmaking sessions designed to foster collaboration among clusters\, SMEs\, policymakers\, investors\, and experts from across Europe. The event offers opportunities to share best practices\, explore new partnerships\, and learn about innovative financing models for circular economy projects. Attendees will also have the chance to visit local companies implementing circular economy principles\, gaining practical insights into the region’s efforts. \nRegistration is required by May 12\, 2025\, and participants must provide personal and organisational information\, specifying their objectives and relevance to the event. Due to limited venue capacity\, registrations will be validated by the ECCP and the European Commission before confirmation.
